Refund Policy — KINSET Inc.

1. Overview

KINSET Inc. is committed to responsible stewardship of all donations. We understand that mistakes can happen, and we want to ensure donors feel confident and protected when giving to our organization.

2. Refund Eligibility

We will consider refund requests in the following circumstances:

Duplicate Donations: If you were charged more than once for the same donation due to a technical error.
Unauthorized Transactions: If a donation was made without your knowledge or authorization.
Data Entry Errors: If you entered an incorrect donation amount and contact us promptly.
Technical Errors: If a technical malfunction resulted in an incorrect charge.

3. Refund Request Timeframe

Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the original donation date. Requests submitted after this period will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of KINSET Inc.'s board of directors.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us within 30 days of your donation with the following information:

Your full name and email address used for the donation
The donation amount and date
The reason for your refund request
Proof of the transaction (e.g., receipt or bank statement)

5. Processing Time

Once we receive your refund request, we will review it within 5–7 business days. If approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10–14 business days, depending on your financial institution.

6. Non-Refundable Situations

The following are generally not eligible for refunds:

Donations made more than 30 days prior (except in extraordinary circumstances)
Donations where funds have already been distributed to program recipients
Donations made with the intent to claim a tax deduction that has already been filed
Recurring donations after the current billing cycle has been processed

7. Recurring Donations

If you have set up a recurring donation and wish to cancel future payments, please contact us at least 5 business days before your next scheduled donation date. Cancellations will take effect for the next billing cycle; the current cycle's payment is generally non-refundable.
