Donation Policy — KINSET Inc.

1. Our Commitment

KINSET Inc. is a registered nonprofit corporation dedicated to collecting and distributing essential resources and donations to support individuals in need. We treat every donation as a sacred trust and are committed to using all contributions in accordance with our charitable mission and the wishes of our donors.

2. Acceptable Forms of Donation

KINSET Inc. accepts donations in the following forms:

Online Donations: Credit card, debit card, and digital payment methods through our secure website.
Check: Payable to "KINSET Inc." and mailed to our address.
In-Kind Donations: Essential goods such as food, clothing, medical supplies, and other resources (subject to current program needs).
Recurring Donations: Scheduled automatic donations on a monthly or annual basis.

3. Use of Donated Funds

All donations received by KINSET Inc. are used to advance our charitable mission. Specifically:

The majority of all funds are directed to direct program expenses — collecting and distributing resources to those in need.
A small portion may be used for necessary administrative and operational expenses required to sustain the organization.
No part of the net earnings shall inure to the benefit of, or be distributable to, any individual director, officer, or private person.

4. Donor-Designated Gifts

Donors may designate their gift for a specific program or purpose. KINSET Inc. will make every reasonable effort to honor donor designations. However, if a designated program is discontinued or fully funded, we reserve the right to redirect the gift to our general fund to support our mission in the most effective way possible.

5. Tax Deductibility

KINSET Inc. is incorporated as a nonprofit corporation for charitable purposes under Donations may be tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Donors are responsible for determining the tax-deductibility of their contributions based on their individual circumstances. We recommend consulting a tax professional.

Upon request, KINSET Inc. will provide written acknowledgment of all donations of $250 or more as required by the IRS.

6. Gift Acceptance Policy

KINSET Inc. reserves the right to decline any donation that:

Conflicts with our mission, values, or legal obligations
Creates an unacceptable burden or liability for the organization
Comes with conditions incompatible with our charitable purposes
Is from a source that could compromise the integrity or reputation of KINSET Inc.

7. Anonymity

Donors may request to remain anonymous. We will honor such requests to the extent permitted by law, though we are required to maintain internal records of all contributions for accounting and legal compliance purposes.

8. Accountability & Transparency

KINSET Inc. maintains accurate financial records and is committed to full transparency in how donations are used. We comply with all applicable state and federal reporting requirements for nonprofit organizations.

9. Refunds

Donations are generally non-refundable. Please see our Refund Policy for specific circumstances in which a refund may be granted.
